Privacy Policy

Last updated: October 7, 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how BashFind ("BashFind," "we," "our," or "us") collects, uses, shares, and protects information when you use bashfind.com and related BashFind services (together, the "Service").

1. Who BashFind is for

BashFind is intended for adults, including parents and guardians planning kids' parties and the businesses (venues and entertainers) that serve them.

Children should not create BashFind accounts or submit personal information to BashFind directly. BashFind does not knowingly collect personal information directly from children. If you believe a child has submitted information to us, please contact us at hello@bashfind.com and we will take appropriate steps to delete it.

2. Information families may provide

BashFind does not ask families for a phone number.

3. Child profile information

BashFind allows parents and guardians to create profiles for their children to personalize party recommendations and planning reminders. Child profile information is provided and managed by the adult account holder. BashFind is not intended for children to create accounts or submit personal information directly.

A child profile may include a first name or nickname (nicknames are welcome), birth month and year, and interests. We use this only to personalize party ideas, venue and entertainer suggestions, and party planning reminder emails. Child profile information is private to your account (and to family members you choose to share with) and is never published as part of a public listing.

You can edit or delete a child profile at any time from your dashboard.

4. Information from business users

If you create, claim, or manage a venue or entertainer listing, we collect:

5. Information collected automatically

Like most websites, when you use BashFind our hosting and infrastructure providers automatically receive standard technical information such as IP address, browser and device type, and pages requested. We also record certain activity within BashFind, such as clicks on a business's outbound website link, so we can show businesses how their listing performs. Information may also be used for security and fraud prevention.

6. How we use information

We do not sell your personal information.

7. Emails and communications

We send service-related emails such as account verification, password resets, message notifications, Party Pass confirmations, and confirmations for business actions (for example, listing approval, Featured Placement, and offer activation or deactivation). These are needed to operate your account or transaction.

Parents who add child profile information may receive party planning reminders (for example, 3, 2, and 1 month before a child's birthday) and personalized party ideas. Reminders stop once a party plan is saved for that child. You can unsubscribe from optional or promotional emails using the unsubscribe link in those emails, or by contacting hello@bashfind.com.

8. Payments

Payments for Party Passes and Featured Placement subscriptions are processed by our third-party payment processor, Stripe. Your card details are entered with and handled by Stripe; BashFind does not receive or store your full payment card number. We receive limited information from Stripe, such as purchase status, amount, and the email associated with the purchase.

Payments for actual party bookings are made directly between families and businesses, not through BashFind.

9. Service providers

We share information with service providers who help us run BashFind, only as needed for them to provide their services. These include providers of:

We may also disclose information if required by law, to protect the rights, safety, or property of BashFind or others, or in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets.

10. Google Maps and location services

Maps on BashFind are provided by Google Maps Platform. When you view a map, your browser connects to Google, and Google's use of that information is governed by the Google Privacy Policy and Google Maps Terms. Addresses and ZIP codes may also be converted into map coordinates using third-party geocoding services.

BashFind does not collect your device's precise GPS location. Distance-based results are based on the ZIP code or city you enter.

11. Public business information and integrations

Information businesses publish as part of their BashFind listing (such as name, description, photos, address, service area, pricing, policies, and public contact details) is intended to be publicly discoverable.

Published business and listing information may be displayed through the BashFind website and may also be made available through BashFind integrations, APIs, machine-readable services, or similar discovery technologies (for example, our AI assistant connector).

Private family information, child profile information, saved favorites, messages, and Party Pass customer information are not public listing information and are not shared through these integrations.

12. Cookies and similar technologies

BashFind uses browser storage (such as local storage and cookies) that is necessary to keep you signed in, remember preferences, and operate the Service. BashFind does not currently use third-party advertising cookies. Third-party services embedded on our pages, such as Google Maps or Stripe checkout, may set their own cookies under their own policies. You can control cookies through your browser settings, though some features may not work without them.

13. Data retention

We keep information for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this policy, including operating your account, completing transactions, honoring Party Passes, resolving disputes, maintaining security, and meeting legal, tax, and accounting obligations.

14. Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect information, including access controls that limit who can see private account data. However, no online system can guarantee absolute security.

15. Your choices, access, and deletion

We may need to verify your identity before completing a request, and we may keep certain information where required for legal, security, or transaction reasons (for example, records of Party Pass purchases).

16. California and other privacy rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights under applicable privacy laws, such as the right to know what personal information we collect, to request access to or deletion of it, to correct it, and not to be discriminated against for exercising these rights. To make a request, email hello@bashfind.com. We will respond as required by applicable law.

BashFind does not sell personal information or share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.

17. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the updated policy on this page and change the "Last updated" date. If changes are material, we may also notify you by email or through the Service.
